Traditional Irish dancing is alive and well at Gurrane School! On Monday 20th April the children, parents and grandparents of the school took part in a Ceili with live traditional music. It was held on a fabulous sunny morning, in the yard outside school. The children demonstrated their dancing skills which they have been learning from Fionan Cogan on a weekly basis. And the parents joined in the fun too, doing the Siege of Ennis, Shoe the Donkey and a few more. They earned their cup of tea at the end! Well done to Fionan and the musicians for a great mornings entertainment and exercise:). And also thanks to the piper who was followed by marching children around the pitch!
