THE CORK POPS

Evelyn Grant has created a new live multi media concert for primary and post primary schools with the Cork Pops Orchestra ‘A World of Rhythm’, in City Hall Cork November 6th at University Concert Hall.

She is joining forces with award winning producer, composer, DJ and instrumentalist DJ Dashka and singer Phoebe Dipple and Chris Hurley, Cork Film Centre, to create a show which will introduce a younger audience to the joy of a live music performance with the use of digital technology.

Dance music producer DJ Dashka adds a new twist to his very popular music production demonstration, playing saxophone on his own tracks and on some recent pop hits.

Table Quiz

Our annual table quiz will take place on Friday 15th November in the Crossbarry Inn at 9pm. This is one of our biggest fundraising nights of the year and a great community event so we would love to see as many people as possible come along on the night. Round up your relatives, friends and neighbours – everyone is welcome! Its always an excellent night out!
*Don’t worry if you can’t make up a full team, come along anyway as there are always people looking to make up teams on the night*
Also we will be looking for spot prizes closer to the time so if you have any ideas or contacts for this please contact one of the committee members.
